we’re so excited to announce that we are the first plant-based sushi restaurant to partner with @oceanwiseseafood additionally, the nori we use in our creations is also Ocean Wise recommended as it is cultivated sustainably in the Ariake Sea, Japan. we understand many people are adverse to single use packaging, particularly plastics - so are we. we’ve worked hard to source packaging that is 99% plant-based, from all our containers to our bamboo chopsticks. and though 100% of our packaging is recyclable, we encourage everyone to reuse, then recycle. especially our little fish (post coming about them soon), as they’re the only ones that shouldn’t go into compost. the rest however will breakdown in compost - it might just take a liiiiiitle longer than a banana peel. still, we want to acknowledge that we don’t support single-use of anything really, except food - coz you can’t really eat it twice..
