3v3 controlled rally: bump, set, tip For smaller clubs like us, ball control is crucial. Here, some of our 18Us are working on their ball control in confined spaces.... After the ball goes over the net, the passer becomes the setter, setter becomes the tipper, and tipper becomes the passer. The goal of the drill is to have a continuous rally, so we focus on a controlled 1st touch in close quarters, with a controlled tip to the passer on the other side of the net. Every time you play the ball over the net, do it with intent.

Find a small (relatively low to the ground) object and jump (with both feet) over the object in a side-to-side pattern. Focus on pushing up and over the object, with maximum effort.... Try 3x10.
