Today, Montessori School of Regina students in pre-primary to Grade 8 and staff took a moment to honour our veterans and participated in a Remembrance Day Ceremony. The ceremony took place over zoom, safely in our cohorts. Miss Miranda’s Grade 6-8 classroom read a book and Mr. Nathan’s Grade 3-5 class read the poem In Flanders Fields. Students in Grade 1-2 and pre-primary shared over the camera beautiful poppies they created in their classrooms. We sang and listened to Oh Canada and took a moment of silence. It was a beautiful way to come together as a school and remember. Thank you to Mr. Steve for organizing the program for us. Lest we forget.
