[BUDOJAPAN.com] This is BUDO KARATE!! Ayano Nakamura Japan Karate Association [FULL Version VOD] This Tournament showcasing what is best in KARATE! ... https://vimeo.com/ondemand/jka2019 Tradition meets intensity in one-point matches that will take your breath away! Karate masters investigate how kick and punch, the most fundermental techniques of Karate, could be performed so properly as a ultimate blow to the opponent which decides winning or losing of the competition. In Japanese it is called as "Kime". The concept of this Kime is based on the characteristic idea of Karate, to defeat the opponent completely by one blow. It is the ultimate goal of Karate to realize this Kime. During the tournament which takes over that original starting concept and where people compete by Kumite and Kata, you will find several young Karate masters who might open the new page of Karate's history. https://vimeo.com/ondemand/jka2019 Official website http://budojapan.com/ Twitter https://twitter.com/BudoJapan Youtube https://www.youtube.com/user/budojapan

A chaque fois que je vois ce gars, je pense à Mario Imbeault .
Westerners LOVE asking questions. We often want the answer before we even have the question! In Japan, it’s the TOTAL OPPOSITE... Typically, a Western student wants to know what, why, how before attempting an exercise. Otherwise they’re not motivated to practice. But the Japanese student is encouraged to find the answers by practicing! This is the difference between learning by asking vs. learning by doing. The role of a Sensei is not to answer your questions, but to aid self-discovery. Learning in the East happens through the act of doing. The kinaesthetic sensation of practicing (versus the intellectual pursuit of questioning) leads to the answers being physically manifested in the flesh. They can literally make you practice one technique for HOURS before you finally get it! That’s why the technical skill level is so high in Japan. Personally, I prefer a combination of both! How about you?

Interesting since we have a sensei from Japan teaching us a style from Okinawa.
