My family had a sudden change in health and I need a new home. But there's some things you need to know about me. I'm super sweet and snuggly, full of kisses once I know you and feel safe. I'm a good boy and I always potty outside and never chew anything but my toys. And as you can see I'm insanely cute. I like going for car rides and walks. I've been boarded and got along fine with the other dogs. I've never met a cat. Before covid I used to play with my family's grandchildren but I haven't seen them in a long time now. I have some challenges. I have allergies and I take medication and eat a special food to keep from getting too itchy. I'm also a super vocal little dude. I bark at people I don't know until I feel comfortable. And I can be a real ball of energy. I need a home where I won't have to wear a shock collar all the time to stop my barking, people who have the patience to work with me to teach me the world isn't so scary. I've never been allowed off leash so if you have a secure fenced yard I'd probably be in heaven (but I love my walks too) I'm told I can be overwhelming but I'm also told I'm worth the work. CHARACTER: Fiona is good with humans and other dogs. She is a protective dog and barks to people she doesn’t know. She has no aggression issues. She is good with children but won’t be suitable for a home with toddlers because she is a big dog and a bit goofy She isn’t very energetic but volunteers think she will be happy in a home with a yard. HER STORY: Villagers dump the unwanted puppies to landlls knowing that our volunteers go and feed doggies there. Fiona was one of those pups. MONTY’S MUTTS JUNE 6th FLIGT NAME: Bee AGE: 10 months old GENDER: Male (neutered) WEIGT: 20kg HIGHT: 60cm BREED: Mix Anatolian (%60 Anatolian Shepard, %20 West Asian Village Dog, %20 Kangal) HEALTH: Vaccinated (DHPPI and Rabies), anti parasite medications are given and will be repeated 10 days before ight. He was rachitic when he was found, he had immune boosts and vitamins for 5 months and very healthy now. Please see his rescue video. CHARACTER: Bee is good with humans and other dogs. But he cautious to humans he is not familiar with. He has no aggression issues. He isn’t very energetic but volunteers think she will be happy in a home with a yard. HIS STORY: Bee is Timmy’s brother. Their mom was hit by a car and him and his 2 siblings were left without their mother. Country police found them on the roadside trying to survive and they called our volunteers. Seb and Cigdem immediately took them in and started their treatments at a clinic. Bee was rachitic because they were under nourished. With medication and vitamins he is a healthy and happy dog now. There is only discolorations in her teeth, no caries, fracture, gum disease or hypoplasia. CHARACTER: She is a peaceful, calm, easy going dog. Good with humans and other dogs. HER STORY: Brenna is rescued from Ordu government shelter. This shelter was a death camp where hundreds of animals were left alone unattended for days, without food and water. See more

APPLICATIONS CLOSED AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION Yeti... Female 3 years old Dogs: Yes Cats: unknown Children: older children, 13+ as she does jump up for hugs and risks knocking younger children over. Spayed and up to date on vaccines Yeti is a sweet, social dog with a good temperament. She is very fond of humans and loves to greet everyone she meets with a hug. Yeti would love to be able to get a lot of attention and cuddles. She absolutely LOVES cuddles. She is medium-energy but very playful. She loves going for walks, she could walk all day if you'd let her. She is very smart and picks up on training fairly quickly, she is easy-going, sweet-natured, friendly and gets along with pretty much everyone. Yeti is very good at communicating her needs but would benefit well from puzzles or brain games in her forever home as she does tend to get bored easy and it could lead to unwanted chewing. FOSTER HOME SECURED!! YOU GUYS ARE ROCK STARS!!! Prefer Renfrew county but we are desperate... KOFTE arrived on a flight last night from Turkey. Today he went to his foster to adopt home, who despite being told he is dog aggressive, chose to introduce him to a dog before they even got home. He was scared from the stress of his trip and the stress of this dog introduction was too much and this little boy attacked the mastiff he was supposed to play with. Then promptly into a strange home with a cat without a controlled meeting. She was instructed to separate them but felt that was unfair to the cat. So instead she kept him leashed with the cats in proximity quite literally training him to hate cats and distrust people. So I have to remove the dog immediately. But our pet free/child free foster homes are full. If you can offer even a short term pet free/child free home for him to decompress and learn to feel safe. Even just for a few days so we can figure out a placement please pm me Bio This big and scruffy boy is called KOFTE He is about 5 years old and humans, but doesn't like other dogs and now distrusts cats.

Pls pm for an application Remi is a complete snuggle bug (when he stops moving ) This is a high energy boy who needs a family who will dedicate time to his continuing training and excercise. He goes regularly to daycare and LOVES playing with all the other dogs all day. He needs lots of attention, stimulation and attention or he gets bored and will chew things. He is currently crated when left alone due to the chewing but he hates it and howls the entire time. For this reason he must live in a detached home. He does pull on the leash, his beagle nose leads him. He also has been known to dig/chew out of a fenced yard if unsupervised (it's that beagle nose again!) He is a smart boy who wants to please so with consistency he will learn. He is still a puppy so there is a knock down risk with small children. Ideally his forever family will include a confident dog he can run and play with. If you think you could be this boys perfect home please pm for an application.

Adopted! Everybody, meet Luka! (who we thought was named Chomez) Currently in Foster in Ottawa... Male Appx 15 mths Neutered, vaccinated, microchipped Cats yes Dogs, proper slow introductions. Children, over 16 Fenced yard an absolute must for this boy Please read entire post prior to requesting an application Please note only those being considered will be contacted. If we have an application on file please send a pm to let us know you would like to be considered. Incomplete applications or applications not meeting Luka's requirements will be disregarded. This big guy is the sweetest most gentle pup but timid boy. After the very long journey from Turkey to Ottawa Luka was very scaree and had to be carried. After only 24 hours, Luka would walk over to his foster parents for affection, give kisses on their cheek and they EVEN got a tail wag! Luka loves treats and food and benefits from a food schedule. This structure is highly recommended for Luka as he establishes a routine to help with his housetraining. As Luka grew up outside of a house, he requires some patience as he learns where to do his business. Luka has a fear with leashes which makes his bathroom-training even harder for him. He will not potty on leash hence the necessity of a fenced yard. As his foster parents have already noticed that Luka does his business at certain times (in the morning, after a meal), they know that Luka would establish a routine quickly being off-leash in a fenced-in yard. At night Luka sleeps soundly in his crate, but would also love to snuggle his human in bed. Luka appears to be a low-energy boy but we expect as his confidence grows he may he more energetic. When Luka is awake, he will walk over to his foster Mum for cuddles (and will even hop up on the bed for a nap with her!) He is also enjoying the resident cat in his foster home. Through a huge coordinated effort and the dedication of a resident working diligently to earn his trust we now have this boy safe and sound with a foster home while we search for his family ... Small side of medium Cats yes Children yes Dogs yes with proper introductions From her foster home. Marley is a sweet little girl who is very affectionate at loves belly rubs. She does great on leash and her recall is also coming along great. Since arriving to their home she has not had any potty accidents. She does not show any interest in her toys but does steal the toddlers toys if she can get them. She is ok with allowing a bath and brushing now. She should be fed on a schedule to ensure no food guarding. She does fine with the toddler and cat apparently was good with chickens when in the rescue in Turkey. From her Turkish Rescuer Good with humans, children, other dogs, cats and chickens haha She is a bit shy at first and may not be super affectionate when she first arrives, but once she feels comfortable she is a very happy, playful girl. She was living in front of a roadside restaurant in the middle of nowhere, that restaurant was the only sign of civilisation around for miles. She was living there with a small terrier, and I happened to be passing through on a bus one night and spotted the terrier, who tried to get on my lap and come with me, but the bus wouldn't let him on. So we went back for him a few days later and found Marley as well and brought her back to rescue too. Coming soon!! We just found out today this boy will be joining us Thursday night. This is Chomez, he is appx 15 months old. He will be relaxing and learning how to be a dog in his foster home in Ottawa. Once he has had a chance to decompress and show us who he is, he will be posted for applications.
