Having grew up in Kenya, I know Kenyans consume a lot of the stuff from the west. This makes a lot of people say stuff they don’t understand. In high school, some guy from Kisii who was my schoolmate once called me a MONKEY(added that I should be fed bananas everyday) over an argument we had. The disagreement started from some EPL game. Obviously from his character, you can tell he is an Arsenal diehard fan. After all, There is something about Arsenal fans being always desper...ate. To his dismay, I laughed it off when he told me that because I understood two things he did probably know but didn’t both to remember. One, Monkeys are supposed to have smaller brain capacity than humans and therefore him being the human, he should have more brain capacity than me. That was no true because I was undeniably the best student in my class. Second, the first time I saw a banana tree in my life was when I came to Kenya. I am among the first people in my clan and village to have taste a banana. And ffs this guy is from Kisii, who eats bananas in Kenya more than Kisii? Anyways I am sure he is frowning over some banana stew as he fumble to read this post. I hope he is still able to read because it has been 4 years since our conversation. The way he pronounced Monkey and some other words during that conversation makes me questions whether he still know English. The real liberators didn’t fight for South Sudan. They fought for justice, equality and freedom for their people. South Sudan is just a name for all those things they fought for. It’s like you and your name. You name is just a representation of you. If you die the name becomes only a memory. Similarly, you cannot... celebrate the birthday of a child who has not yet been born. You might have had the name for the baby but you haven’t seen the baby yet. The baby is more important than its name. Baby South Sudan was born but it slipped into coma at birth. The baby has been sleeping since then and we just don’t know if it will survive. Your efforts to heal and wake up the baby are more important than these fake Social media celebrations celebrating the name of a barely surviving baby. See more

The first time the white man came to Africa, Africans were already dealing in slaves, gold dust etc with the Arabs. As we all fight racism, we need to remember that the biggest threat to all black people is not racism but disunity. We conquered each other and sold our own people. We made it easy for the white people to divide and rule. Police brutality and inter-tribal conflict statistics in Africa are way worse than anywhere else where there are black people. It’s your responsibility as the young generation of Africans to study and correct the past mistakes of older generations. Disunity among Africans was born before racism and racism will never end if disunity is not solved first. Let’s unite our people

I have dressed up to go for a meeting with NIGHT. It’s not just for NIGHT to continue giving peace and rest to racists who hate its very colour in black people. The irony is that all racists were probably conceived at night. These bigots should know that you will NEVER COMPROMISE WITH NATURE.

I am not protesting to remind the whites or the Asians that I am a human being! I am protesting to remind them that I am a proud strong black man. We, the blacks, are the strongest version of human beings and they know it!...and that is why there is a lot of envy towards us...There is Nothing we haven’t gone through on the face of earth...At one point in our history, blacks were declared as Animals. Our rich history tarnished and distorted. But here we are, strong as ever...! This is the road I wish for my people to take. We need to focus on our problems as black people. Develop and make Africa strong! That is our only exit. Otherwise, we are so busy trying to solve whites problems. Racism is hatred and that is their problem. You can’t solve that. Whites will need to solve it by themselves. If we solve our issues we won’t need the whites for anything! After that we won’t really care whether they will continue to hate or choose to love!
