Wonderful way to spend sometime outdoors exploring, on and off the trails!

Winter has been amazing. We are also so very thankful for an early Spring too!

Do you or someone you love need some connection to brighten the winter days? We would to send a Valentine’s greeting or note to show how much we care about you, the people who help make up our community! Send us a message including name and address so we can make sure something is delivered to everyone who needs it.

We received this email today asking to help spread the word. The ToyBox Project is a made-in-Manitoba grassroots initiative, aimed at caregivers and their 2-8-year-old children. The release of these new strategies this Winter is supported by www.SafeAtHomeManitoba.ca. People who sign up will receive one activity on: Literacy Mondays, Wellness Wednesdays, and Numeracy Fridays for the next twelve weeks! They can do them once or many times, or they can change them. They are quic...k and easy, and complement what families are already doing at home. We would love for caregivers to be able to receive these activities! They could either be a ToyBox tester, trying out our activities and telling us how they like them through a feedback survey, or they can just receive the activities and use them with no commitment. All ideas have been reviewed by experts and the University of Winnipeg ethics committee, and are geared to improving learning. Sign up at [email protected].
