Grief isn't linear. Nor is it experienced the same twice or by two people grieving the same loss. Grief is also not limited to death, all loss can produce grief: job, relationship, dream, organ, health, ability, routine, and so much more.

It's National Advance Care Planning Day! Planning is so important no matter your age or circumstances, because injury and illness happens to anyone at any time. As a death doula, helping you determine what matters to you and making a care plan is my job. I'm happy to answer questions in the comments or send them by message any time.

Input please! In the past few months, I've noticed a significant increase in existential concerns among my clients and I'm certain the pandemic has played a lead role in this uptick. The universality of it has lead me to want to offer a wider support opportunity in this realm. Please comment if you'd have interest in participating in a 6-week online group to explore existential themes such as purpose, meaning, choice, freedom, and anxiety.... It's not a commitment, it's to help me gauge interest :)

Sneak peak of the new office! I've reopened for in person sessions with safety measures in place. Come visit! I'm in the new office space at Skyecroft (upstairs from where we've been). The pandemic effected the timeline, but we're in now! There are a few building elements still to be completed and our opening reception remains in the wings until it's safe to reschedule it.
