Please note that effective today, masks are mandatory in all gym facilities, even during physical exertion. Any updates on this Saskatchewan Government policy will be posted when available. Thank you for your cooperation.
The provincial government mandatory indoor masking requirements state that the use of non-medical masks is mandatory in most indoor public spaces. This includes places for sport and recreational activities, including gyms, EXCEPT when participating in physical exertion.
As there have been confirmed positive cases of COVID-19 in our community we want to ensure everyones safety by following the safety measures of Saskatchewan and... our Town Council. Masks in Mossbank are strongly recommended. The following images are from saskatchewan.ca, helping you determine whether you should be isolating or not. We understand that isolating can be hard on us mentally, but is the only way to stop the spread of the virus. You may be contagious and not even know it. Let’s work together to keep our community safe! https://www.saskatchewan.ca//covid-main/know-when-to-self-
The gym is open once again!
UPDATE: the gym will be closed tonight and tomorrow pending the fix of the water line break on 5th ave.
Please note that the water is currently shut off in the gym during construction of a water main leak. An update will be available when possible.
Council has discussed the status of the gym and it will remain open at this time. This will be re-evaluated on an ongoing basis. However, please take the following precautions: - limit the number of persons in the facility to 6 or less and maintain 3 m of distance at all times; - wipe down equipment with sanitizer before and after use; and - make use of the hand sanitizer at the entrance when arriving and when leaving the facility.
Here are some great poses to try at home for lower back pain! As someone who has suffered greatly with back pain, yoga has been my saving grace! Hold each of t...hese poses for 1 to 2 minutes, and remember to breathe! With each exhale seeing if you can come into the pose a little deeper and relive a little more tension. **If the pose hurts, back out of it, and modify!** Namaste
