Here's how to prepare your home for this volume: Clear your gutters and downspouts of leaves and debris;... Make sure the storm drains around your home are clear; Ensure your downspouts are properly positioned to direct water into your perimeter drain or away from your home; Be sure your sump pump is in good working order; If you are in an area with unstable power, arrange a back up power source to keep your sump pump going in the event of power loss; And, as always, we recommend having your perimeter drains inspected regularly by a qualified inspector. Keep warm and dry, and remember, we are here for any water emergencies you face.
