When our caregivers can’t meet our attachment needs (not because they are necessarily bad people or bad parents), it can lead to a whole host of struggles as adults. I don’t know who needs to hear this but you are not failing at coping through this pandemic. This shit is hard. It’s frustrating, exhausting & depleting. Everything you are feeling is valid and nobody is okay. Move your body. Breathe. Reach out to someone just to hear your own voice. Chunk it down. You can do this for 5 more minutes. For one more hour. For one more day. ... Abiding with you & offering up this picture of my puppy. Because today (& always) the internet needs more pictures of puppies.

Well folks, that’s a wrap for 2020! It’s been a hell of a year and I’m ready for a little break! Lockdown holidays was not what I was hoping for but I hope we can all find a little peace & calm this season. We’re allowed to feel whatever we feel about all of this our feelings are valid. Take time to honour your sadness, grief & anger. We’ve got this. We can do this. We’re truly on the home stretch now. Take good care of yourselves, stay safe & let’s hold onto hope for a better 2021!!

I'm so excited to share my big news with y'all. I've moved... again! Just when I was about to give up my physical space (that I hadn't set foot in 5 months ), an amazing opportunity fell right into my lap! This century building has been gutted and re-beautified and my office is nothing short of being the one of my dreams! But more than that, it's an opportunity to be part of a brilliant community of practice - a collective of like-minded helpers under one roof supporting each other. If this pandemic has taught us anything, it's that being isolated is really damaging to our mental wellness and I feel so lucky to be surrounded by some pretty incredible folks.
