Zena, founder of Joyous Sorrow Grief Recovery, came to me looking for a website designer that would capture her specific vision for joyoussorrow.com; a place where those in pain could go to for relief from their sorrow caused by grief and losses. A few months before celebrating their first wedding anniversary, Zena’s husband passed away unexpectedly. And as she tried to deal with the pain of losing her husband, just five months later..., her father passed as well. As a widow and bereaved daughter, Zena empathizes and relates to the pain and devastation that grief and loss can have on an individual.
