I am taking no new clients now or in the foreseeable future. I appreciate all your love and recommendations but at this time my client list is full for the hours I chose to work. Please do your best to not recommend me to anyone, it breaks my heart to turn people always after you have raved about me to them. I don’t see this changing any time soon so I do not have a wait list for new customers. I’m stuggling as it is to get through my list of existing customers let alone adding in anyone new. I’m working 6 days a week again which makes it very difficult to get back to you! I’m doing my best between dogs so don’t worry I haven’t forgotten about anyone, but I do need to take some down time for my self on the weekends. I’m down to the wire and will be sending out messages for pre booking soon!
Bookings are starting to go into July! I highly encourage everyone to pre book appointments, if you don’t you’ll be disappointed! Have a great weekend!
Sorry if you are disgusted by ticks.. BUT... tick season is here, this is the first and hopefully last one I see for the year. Make sure you’re checking your dog after being in the Great outdoors
My amazing Friend Danielle makes personalized gives such as this key chain of my dog! She’s super affordable and quick! She can do mugs, socks and even blankets! I know this isn’t entirely grooming related but who doesn’t want their dog on a key chain or a mug! Go check her out at Muskoka Dip Creations

I am still open durning this lock down. Groomers were part of the list, I’m busier then usual and haven’t had a lot of time to post. Thanks and see you soon
Here’s another little story about grooming, just an inside scoop. One of the first questions anyone asks me when dropping their dog off is how long will it be? After I tell them, I explain that drying the dogs takes a lot of time and the hair cut only takes me 30 minutes to 1 hour. The response that I almost always get is, well just leave them wet I don’t mind now I don’t know what other groomers do, we all have different methods, I’ve heard from a couple of my clients now... that their dogs use to get sent home wet and that absolutely mind boggles me because I was taught that the most important step is the bath and blow dry. We call it prep. If I try to groom your dog when it’s still dirty and matted it’s going to leave the coat looking choppy and cause damage, not only that but it’s damaging to my tools to use them on a dirty coat. The same goes for a wet coat, I can’t do a proper hair cut on a wet dog. The only exception is a wet shave which is only performed when a dog is extremely matted and it can help me get underneath the Matts. Wet shaves leave your dog very very short. I used Leo down here as an example because me and him have seen it all together. I’ve done wet shaves on Leo and I’ve even prepped Leo for a formal event which involved leaving him very fluffy. I started Leo at at 11:45 I brushed him for about 15 minutes (his parents were staying on top of brushing him which made my job easier) I then bathed him which took about 15 mins. So it’s now 12:15 and I have a soaked Leo on the table. I took the first photo shown below at 1:55. It took me an hour and 45 minutes to get Leo dry and then the following 2 photos were taken at 2:55 so an hour for his trim. For an over all time of 3 hours and a bit, give or take. This was a quick groom for Leo. He often takes me over 4 hours to do. Grooming is a process and when you expect me to get your dog done in an hour you’re going to receive bad quality work. I strive to put out the best quality that I can which means I am going to take the time I need with every dog (pee breaks included) thanks for listening and see you at your next appointment See more
I’ll be in touch with everyone on the wait list soon
Wait list is full until further notice

As much as I would love to take everyone one who needs a groomer right now, I really can’t. I’m back to no new customers what so ever. I need to make sure I have space for my regulars to stay on track and for me to have a day off.
I currently have a wait list for December please message me if you are looking to get on it! I’m prioritizing regular clients but I will sneak in a few new ones on a first come first serve basis, no promises at the moment, I think I can take about 4 more on the list for guaranteed spots and then after that it would be upon cancellation. (Basically I’m posting this in case I’m forgetting anyone on the list, you may already be on it and not aware of it)

New dryer is finally up and running!!! It’s a groomers dream come true
It’s the long weekend! Have a happy thanksgiving! I’ll get back to everyone on Tuesday! (Don’t worry I’m not booking anything so no one is missing out over the weekend)
Fully booked for the year. No new clients right now. (Unless we are currently talking, in which case I will be in touch with you at some point today) last minute spots to be announced but they will be for regular clients only.
I’ll get to all your messages soon! Just need to finishing grooming first
Hey everyone, are any of my wonderful clients electricians? Looking for someone reliable For a job that I need done for the grooming room
Hey everyone, only a few spaces left for the rest of the year. Last minute spaces will come up towards the end of the month but as far as pre booking and guaranteeing a spot I’m down to the last few, I’m fully booked for large dogs, the spaces left are for small to medium, or large short haired dogs.
I have a last minute space oct 13th for a small dog!
We found her thanks for everyones help!!! Please help us find our missing dog. White bull dog with brown marks. Keeda is her name. She has a red and black checkered coller on with a name tag and phone number. Last seen on Aspdin road.
Hi everyone! Just a little pandemic health and safety update, since I was thinking about it this morning. I don’t require that you wear a mask because in most cases I’m meeting you outside and we are doing a quick hand off of your dog. I would appreciate it if you considered the same questions you get asked every where before coming to your appointment. Do you have or have you had any symptoms in the past 24 hrs? Traveled or been around anyone who has traveled? Have you b...een tested or anyone in your house been tested without results? If yes for any of the questions please reschedule your appointment. With cold and flu season rolling around I will be enforcing a mask rule (or scarf around your face.. this is muskoka) but I will continue to meet you outside regardless of the weather. Apologies in advance if there is a snow storm day of your appointment.. thanks for your cooperation! See more
