Coaches, check out this new Free eLearning module provided by the Coaches Association of Canada. A very important look at returning to sport participation and how coaches can help athletes have a successful return. http://ow.ly/X6Ac50EwltZ
The life blood of our organization is those that take time out of their days to come in and work with us and ask for nothing in return. This week is National Volunteer Week, and EMSA wouldn’t be able to run without our volunteers. For this week we wanted to highlight them and say thank you for all you do for us.
Soccer is a team sport, made possible by the wonderful collection of people that come together to support a team. From volunteers to the people who simply come to watch. No one however makes a bigger difference in the lives of our players than the coaches. We want to take time to say a simple Thank you, for all the tireless hours you put into making this game what it is.
Only 2 days left to finish up!

On December 8th, the Government of Alberta announced that there will be stronger public health measures implemented on Sunday, December 13th. As a result of the...se new measures, EMSA is effectively suspending all organized soccer activities until January 12th, 2021. We will be working with our coaching staff to help provide virtual training and support for our players during this period. EMSA and our facility partners will be working on re-arranging the new January-to-April schedule in order to give our teams as many games as possible for the remainder of the indoor season. Competition resumes in early January. Stay active. Stay updated and try to enjoy this modified holiday season. Visit our website for more information: https://emsamain.com/emsa-covid-19/
As the temporary suspension of team soccer activities continues until December 15th, the EMSA is working closely to monitor the situation as new information becomes available. The EMSA website is the best place to stay updated as we work hard to keep our community safe and healthy.
The Government of Alberta declared a health state of emergency, effective Friday, November 27th, to help slow the spread of Covid-19 and protect our health system. The emergency will remain in effect for 3 weeks and then re-evaluated. Soccer and all soccer activities are therefore suspended until further notice. Applications, by groups and or organizations, for special dispensations can be forwarded to the GofA.... EMSA, EDSA and Facilities are working together to apply for dispensation. ASA will hopefully join our application. Once we have more information, we will be letting you know. For the lastest from ASA: https://albertasoccer.com/state-of-public-health.../ Stay healthy, be safe, and if we want to get back on the pitch, please wear a mask. Thank you MWSA Executive
