Our annual holiday concert looked a little different this year but our staff and students did a fabulous job putting it all together! Last year we launched our new initiative - MFMS Cares. The purpose of this initiative was to teach our children about selfless service. We collected over $3000 throughout the school year to help the charity Global Medic. This holiday season, we will be supporting the charity- The Giving Hand... Our next Small Business Month feature is My First Montessori School. Here is how they got started and which services they offer... We are a Montessori school... located in Brampton and reaching families in and around the GTA. We help our clients continue their child’s education through virtual learning with Montessori methods. Our services include authentic Montessori education with highly trained teachers for children from 18 months to 9 years of age, along with individualized tutoring sessions. Our services are programmed around each child’s needs. We differentiate ourselves by strictly offering Montessori education with one-on-one planned lessons. During the COVID-19 shutdown of schools in Ontario, one of our teachers began tutoring her classroom students. This was an instant hit with the parents which encouraged us to launch an online version of our school with addition to one-on-one tutoring. We launched with 75 children online and continue to offer such services through these trying times.
