Niagara Escarpment Views

A petition has been started requesting the City of Owen Sound to rename Ryerson Park. The park is named after Egerton Ryerson, whose recommendations influenced the formation of Canada's Indian residential school system.

In memory of the 215 children discovered in a mass grave at a residential school in Kamloops, British Columbia, Niagara Falls will be illuminated in orange both tonight and tomorrow from 10:15-11:15pm.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, appointments are needed to drop-off donations (unfortunately we are unable to offer pick-up services). Thank you! Straw is used in various enclosures for animals to nestle and hide in, like an Eastern cottontail who needs time to heal after being attacked by an outdoor cat; straw will help keep her warm and snug as her wounds heal. With autumn here, TWC needs more straw for bedding so wild patients can keep cozy and comfortable as they receive their treatments and recover.
