Notifications of interest issued for Ontario’s Express Entry French-Speaking Skilled Worker and Skilled Trades streams On January 13, 2021, the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) issued targeted notifications of interest to candidates who may qualify for Ontario’s Express Entry French-Speaking Skilled Worker and Skilled Trades streams. You may apply to the French-Speaking Skilled Worker or Skilled Trades stream if you received a notification of interest on January 13, 2...021. If you received a notification of interest, you don’t need to contact the program. For the French-Speaking Skilled Worker stream, the OINP targeted candidates with a comprehensive ranking system score between 456 and 467. For the Skilled Trades stream, the OINP targeted candidates with a comprehensive ranking system score between 434 and 460. On December 30, 2020 the l’Immigration, de la Francisation et de l’Intégration (MIFI) has temporarily suspended the acceptance and processing of applications already received for individuals admitted to certain institutions in Quebec. Ten learning institutions are currently being audited or investigated by the Ministry of Higher Education. This includes the following schools: M College of Canada Matrix College of Management, Technology and Health Inc. ... Canada College Inc. Herzing College (Institute) CDE College Montreal College of Information Technology Higher Institute of Computer Science (ISI) Universal College Gatineau Campus CDI College Montreal campus of the Cégep de la Gaspésie and the Islands The ministry’s decision is in effect until March 31, 2021 and applies to applications already received, but have yet to be decided. This decision has no effect on the CAQ already issued and does not affect students currently studying at these institutions if they hold a CAQ and a valid study permit.
