Hello everyone! As we have continued to grow this side of the business and helped it form some of it's own identity, now seemed to be the right time to make a F...acebook page for it. From now on, I will be posting our designs through this page and probably sharing them through the Near North Industrial Solutions page as well. I'm excited to show you all some of the amazing things we have in the works! -Ben

Another satisfied customer! This sign was created using a picture sent to us by the customer. Just a reminder that we can do designs based off of images that you send us, but please make sure the background is clearly distinguishable from the design. That way, it will be easier to convert for cutting out beautiful signs like this one! Side note, we are currently letting customers inside the shop again, but only one customer is allowed at a time. We also have an awning now hanging over the office window out front, so we can help you outside without worrying about a nasty sunburn. Looking at the forecast for this week, it's looking like we'll need it! -Ben

Since we are still getting phone calls asking, I would like to remind everyone that we are open for business. However, we are still not letting people inside the buildings. Please wait outside and we will come to you. Knock on the front door so that we know you are here, or call in advance and we'll keep an eye out for you! We know that social distancing measures in Ontario are starting to be relaxed, but please keep doing your part so that, if there is a second wave of this pandemic, it is not as severe as the first one! -Ben

Over the past few months, we have been developing the more artistic side of our CNC plasma cutting operations here at Near North Industrial Solutions. Metal art has become a new venture for us and we are trying to get the word out about it, as well as a few examples like the ones pictured here. We're looking forward to making some great designs! I should probably mention this as well. Due to the increasing severity of the COVID-19 pandemic, we are currently practicing a bit o...f physical distancing of our own by not allowing customers into the shop. Please knock on our front door if you are outside and in need of help. We will also be closed on Saturdays for the foreseeable future. Nevertheless, we are still remaining open. Stay safe, and wash your hands frequently! -Ben

Congrats to Dan Rothwell on finishing 8th in this season's OSCAAR Hot Rod Series standings in the no. 21 Near North Industrial Solutions Chevrolet! It's been a great season of racing and we could not be happier to be a part of it!

Big Equipment requires Big Tools

Building a pair of 95-foot hoses for a customer. I've helped with jobs requiring dozens of regular hoses, but this is something new to me. -Ben

We also finished fixing up a pair of hydraulic cylinders recently. We got them working again and even gave them a fresh coat of paint.

Yesterday, we finished this bear-proof dumpster for a local restaurant. No more unwanted guests popping by for a snack!

Hi everyone! We're dusting off our Facebook page so we can offer people a new way to stay informed about what's going on here at Near North Industrial Solutions. We hope that this will allow us to connect better with customers, among other things. We want to do our best to serve those who have made NNIS into what it is, and social media felt like the best step forward. Now, we have someone to serve as an admin, and so we can make that step. Expect to see more from us from this point forward!
