Here’s a vintage photo of the water aerodrome in Vanderhoof in probably 1979. Amazing that the trail in the field is still in exactly the same place even though... trees have claimed a lot of the field. Orange and white plane belonged to Cliff Andros. The First Graveyard in Vanderhoof is located on the original road to Saik’uz. Many years ago Jim Simonsen took me there, I was unaware of it, and I understand V...ictoria is as well. Today a couple Councillors and staff went and took a look at it. This is part of our history we need to protect, as it is over 100 years old. See more
