COVID update Acupuncture is still open !!! Massage Services will be closed from Dec 13 into January (TBD) ... Acupuncture services are allowed to continue as Acupuncture is a regulated service under the Health Professions Act along with Physiotherapy Chiropractic, Naturopathic ... Did you know that Acupuncture isn’t just needles? Or it doesn’t have to be any needles at all? In fact the name Acupuncture is misleading as what I was really trained in is Traditional Chinese Medicine. This means that I can utilize things like Tuina (Soft tissue mobilizations) Gua Sha (like Graston, which also works on fascia) laser or acupressure. Contrast bath ! Gavin fell off his bike and hurt his elbow and wrists. He is still going to physio but the contrast bath helped get a little more movement and alleviate some pain. 3 mins hot water (the yellow one had Epsom salts) and 30 seconds in the cold.
