What is a NeuroDevelopmental Movement Program? The growth of our brain is not an automatic process, its not a random process, and it varies according to each child. Although everyone is different and every brain is different, every child follows the same general plan of development. It is important that each child follows a step by step plan to a certain degree to ensure their brain receives all the necessary stimulation and opportunity for their brain to develop to its fulle...st potential. This plan is called the Developmental Sequence. This process is how we grow to a fully functioning adult. During the first year of life, there is an opportunity of permanent brain growth and special learning that occurs. These early years are extremely important and the sooner the baby receives sensory stimulation and opportunity for movement, optimization of growth, development, and skills will happen. We are born with a central nervous system and there are 7 levels of that system. Our brain develops from the bottom up with the first level providing a foundation for the second, the second for the third, and soon. It is important that each level is fully developed, leaving no gaps in the foundation as a gap will affect the function of the upper levels or the brain. When the are gaps in the lower levels this can lead to a disorganized brain. A disorganized brain can lead to issues with emotions, behaviours, learning abilities, and motor skills. How does a NeuroDevelopmental Movement work? A NeuroDevelopmental Movement Program replicates the same developmental sequence that grows connections in the brain. By using the developmental sequence, it fills in gaps in development, allowing the child to move forward in their neurological growth. NeuroDevelopmental Movement is a movement and sensory-based, drug-free approach to addressing the challenges of a disorganized or injured brain. This is the central problem, and when you treat the central problem by treating the central organism, the brain itself, you can go a long way towards improving and maximizing ones potential. One of the many special things about this school is that it will include a NeuroDevelopmental Movement Program, speech, and Occupational therapy. What is your guess........

I am writing to you today not as a consultant but as a mom with a child who has special needs. As a mother of a child with special needs, motherhood consumed so much of me and I lost who I was. During the pain in my life I went through 2 different diagnosis with my son, and brain surgery. I was then diagnosed with precancerous cells in my cervix and needed to have surgery to remove them. Years later I was diagnosed with papillary cancer, and I had to have two surgeries to r...emove my thyroid. As I changed the course of my life and my career, I have finally open my heart to continuing to find my purpose. These past few weeks I have dived into and feel ready to feed my soul, love myself and have positivity in my life. As parents we tend to keep our struggles, our concerns, and our feelings to our selves. I have chosen to step out of my comfort zone and share my journey with the world. I have started an Instagram account where I will share my thoughts, books, podcast and exercises that have helped me get to where I am. More exciting news...... I have also started a podcast and the release date will be coming soon! For my podcast I will be sharing my journey through finding my purpose, creating my own happiness and just falling in love with myself. I will also be interviewing other parents like me and motivational speakers who share our same path. This program is implemented at home by the parents. If there was a clinic available for you to bring your child to, would you?
