We are answering a lot of questions about flu shot availability. We have not received the flu vaccine yet, it is expected in the next few weeks. This year we are not able to accept walk-ins for flu shots. Our pharmacy is small. To ensure physical distancing, limited number of people in store at a time, and sanitation protocols are respected we are going to hold an after hours flu shot clinic. We will be doing an after hours Sunday clinic for our patients, and will be lim...ited with how many appointments we can book per hour. Please call the pharmacy at 613-378-2220 to have your name put on a waiting list. We cannot guarantee a space, but will give you a call if there is a spot available once the flu vaccine arrives. I am looking into other options to hold a bigger clinic for the community and if we are able to arrange that option we will post details. Stay healthy and stay safe!

We are getting questions about different symptoms which are on the COVID-19 list which require testing or self-isolation. For those of us with school age children who are in school, here is the flow chart of what to do if your child doesn't pass the pre-screening to be done each morning before they head out to school. It is going to be an interesting year, as we all navigate the new rules and deal with difficult situations. We all have to do our part to keep the kids and ourselves healthy. Physical distance, wear a mask in public where physical distancing isn't possible and stay home if you are sick. Please remember to keep 1 to 2 weeks of medication on hand and have a supply of food and necessities in case you are required to self isolate.

Many are asking what the procedure in the store is when you pick up your prescription. Our door is open! Masks are required. We have hand sanitizer at the door and at the cash, the dispensary area has a plastic barrier to protect you and us. By calling in advance, foot traffic has been greatly reduced and so far we haven't had more than 2 to 3 people in at a time. If we feel there are too many in the store we would simply ask you as you enter to wait outside. Physical distancing in the store is working well, so thank you to everyone for being respectful of this rule. Be prepared and stay safe!

Good news! Our battery recycling box is back! Thank you for your patience. We are also collecting food for a food drive if you wanted to donate but are unable to attend the Sept. 26th event at Westendorp depot organized by Diane Giberson.

Please note, all of the masks to help with glasses fogging are gone. We will update when Darleene drops off more. There are some of the pleated kind for adults and kids still available.

We are now again accepting expired or no longer needed medications for disposal. For returns, all pills must be removed from individual vials and combined in one vial, container or bag. Liquids, creams and inhalers can be left in the original bottles/tubes. All personal information needs to be removed from the vial, container, bag or bottle. Time for some fun! We are celebrating 6 years in business! Our celebrations for the last 5 years have been a customer appreciation day with food, games and prizes. We are unfortunately unable to do those things this year, but want to thank our loyal customers in a safe and physically distanced way.
