Reunited and it feels so good! Sven was happy to have his siblings Nova and Beau join him as they were released from the vet clinic! Felix and Olaf are still receiving excellent inpatient care at the vet. Please keep them in your thoughts as they continue to fight.

URGENT We have had an influx of emergency cases lately, and they need your help! Penny arrived into New Hope on November 3, 2020, as a transfer from another agency, with a severe skin condition. She was seen by a partner veterinarian and was diagnosed with a very bad case of Demodex. She is full of scabs, her fur is falling out and she is extremely itchy. She has been was started on medication and proper nutrition. Demodex is a mite that burrows into the skin that often ti...mes affects malnourished animals with poor immune systems. Django came in with a face full of infected quills. He underwent two separate surgeries to remove quill tips and drain his facial abbesses. He’s on antibiotics and is recovering well. Danny, is our second boy within a week who came to us with a face full of infected quills! His infection was worse the Django’s, but he is a fighter and he’s recovering in his foster home with antibiotics onboard. Ginny, 3 months old; she was hit by a car and dislocated her hip and has muscle damage to her front leg. On Friday, Ginny had hip surgery to repair her hip. With the right front limb there may be some nerve damage and it may be several months before we know if it improves or if she possibly will have to have it amputated. Cookie, waiting for femoral head ostectomy surgery in December. Femoral head ostectomy is a surgical procedure that aims to restore pain-free mobility to a diseased or damaged hip, by removing the head and neck of the femur (the long leg bone or thighbone). Your gift today ensures we never have to turn away dogs in need! https://www.newhoperescue.org/online-donation-2/

Maybe she’s born with it, maybe it’s her spa day donated by Mutt Hutt Grooming !! Cookie was treated to a grooming to deal with the multiple matts in her fur prior to her Femoral Head Resection Surgery scheduled for early December.

Ted is a perfect example of what vet care, a dedicated foster home and love can do, to change a dogs life! Ted came into our care in September with a front leg injury, which ended up being amputated. Ted is rocking his life as a tripod and was recently adopted!! Our work is only possible because of you, our supporters. Donate today towards dogs like Ted, it makes a difference. Tax receipts provided to donations of $20 or over. https://www.newhoperescue.org/online-donation-2/
