Happy #internationalfirefightersday to all our fellow brother and sisters today. Though we don’t do this job for any special recognition it is nice to be appreciated for the sacrifices we make daily.....today we will remember our firefighters who paid the ultimate sacrifice and died in the line of duty. So thank a firefighter today if you know one and remember those we have lost. Tonight at 10 pm the falls will be illuminated red in honour of this day. Stay tuned for pics. @ontario_firefighters

Today marks the end of a long journey. Station 7 has been much needed in the ever expanding west end of our city. Today it officially opens and has been running calls already. Thank you to all involved in making g this happen and in turn investing in public and firefighter safety in our city.

Niagara Parks Police Service, Niagara Regional Police Service, Niagara Falls Fire Department, and Niagara EMS have responded to the scene of a serious single mo...tor vehicle collision on the Niagara River Pkwy near the NPC Floral Showhouse. Two occupants have been flown by Ornge Helicopters to out of Region hospitals with life threatening injuries. Niagara River Parkway northbound lanes remains closed at this location for investigation purposes. See more

Today marks 5 years since we lost one of our brothers. Captain Vail was a mentor to many and a strong presence around the hall. We still tell his stories often and his memory lives on.

Tonight is the night we turn our clocks back. With the end of Daylight Savings Time the Niagara Falls Fire Department want to remind everyone about safety in our homes. Please change the batteries in all Smoke and Carbon Monoxide alarms in your house. Have a Fire Safe Fall!
