The OMFA is honored to officially release and announce that we are partnering with the Univeristy of Ottawa and will be fielding 3 new teams as the Jr. GeeGees ...in the Premiere Division of the Ontario Provincial Football League (OPFL) to play this summer in 2021. It is an amazing and exciting time to share this wonderful news. The future is very bright for youth football in Ottawa and we are thrilled to offer this program across Ottawa in partnership with University of Ottawa. I would like to start by thanking everyone for being a part of the 2018 season with the Giants. Thank you to all the coaches who donated their time to help coach this year. Hope to see you all return next year. Huge thanks to all volunteers (sticks, food, canteen,bingo,field prep,drivers,jersey washer) the club appreciate all our help this year. I really encourage everyone next year to get involved and help out wherever as much as possible.... Special thanks to our board members, who do so much in the background to make this club run. I couldn’t imagine doing this without your support. **special special thanks to my wife, who I know will see this. ***She has been extremely patient and basically losses me 6 months of the year hahaha On that note , as my first year as president I learned a lot and hope to take these lessons full force for the future. We had some ups and downs but overall I truly enjoyed my time with the giants and can’t wait to see everyone next year. We will be having our AGM dec 29 Saturday at 4pm at Gil o Julien clubhouse. Hey everyone , As the season has come to an end for some of our levels I would like to thank everyone for being a part of the 2018 Giants season. It isn’t over yet though, we still have our end year banquets. ... This year we will be hosting our banquets at flying squirrel trampoline park. Location 1901 Cyrville rd ( across from Costco ) Cost $0.00 Just show up and have fun! Time 6:00pm - 8:30pm ( we ask everyone to show up 15 mins early 5:45 to sign waiver forms ) Level and dates Tykes- Monday November 12th Mosquitos - Tuesday November 13th Peewee - Wednesday November 14th Everyone will have about 2 hours of jumping with a break in between for pizza, followed with the last 30 mins of Speeches and awards. ***if your child already has trampoline socks from either sky zone or flying squirrel please bring them as they won’t need to wait and this will speed up the initial registration period**** Equipment return date will be as followed Tykes - Tuesday November 6th 6:30-7:30 Mosquitos - Wednesday November 7th 6:30-7:30 Peewee - Thursday November 8th 6:30-7:30 Please respect the assigned date for equipment return based on levels.
