In times like this the true goodness of a community shines through!!!! The Norfolk General Hospital would like to thank everyone for their thoughtfulness and support. We are here for you and in turn the community is showing that they are here for us. There has been an abundance of kindness and compassion shown to our staff.... A few examples from this past week alone include: - a good Samaritan dropped off Little Caesars Pizza -Pita Pitt brought in pitas. -Tim Hortons brought in coffee and donuts -Domino’s brought in Pizza -Harvey’s and Swiss Chalet have been giving healthcare workers a 50% discount from March 20th to March 27th -Pizza Hut brought in Pizza -St Paul’s Presbyterian Church dropped off bottles of hand sanitizer -Roulstons and a good Samaritan dropped off gloves -Dollar Stop Simcoe donated boxes of masks and gloves -Rassaun Services Inc donated boxes of masks and gloves -Mitt & Robe Co Ltd donated boxes of masks -Jarja Floral dropped off beautiful bouquets of tulips Other random acts of kindness have been flowing in as well to individual floors and areas. All of the thoughtfulness is so appreciated by the staff of Norfolk General Hospital. Thank you!

The Port Dover Lions Club donated $60,000.00 to the Year of the cat 2.0 Campaign. The BIG cheque was delivered Monday afternoon. Jennifer White accepted the gen...eraous gift in front of the YOC 2.0 thermometer. The Port Dover Lions hold numerous events throughout the year, like the New Years Party, Fish Fry & NOT a Stag Night and Annual Turkey Raffle. The proceeds from these events allows the Lions to be able to give back to the Port Dover and area Community. The Port Dover Lions have been serving the Community for over 80 years.
