This week, Hue Nguyen attended the 14th Annual Solo & Small Firm Conference at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre. We were excited to hear about all sorts of interesting topics: skills for tomorrow’s lawyer, strategic networking and marketing, different fee arrangements, new AI research tools, the power of vision, data analytics and business metrics to grow the firm, and tech solutions to accelerate our practice for our clients' benefit. The practice of law is changing and we're staying ahead of the curve #futureoflaw #litigation

Today marks the 1-year anniversary of Nobis Law! www.nobislaw.ca This past year has been rewarding, eye-opening, challenging, and deeply fulfilling. Here are some highlights: stopped baseless evictions and kept people in their homes; represented defendants who have no insurance coverage; advocated for injured clients; helped people and companies get their money back; assisted a guy in fighting to keep his beloved dog; and, my personal favourite, recovered money for an olive oil producer in Italy (!) Through it all, what comes to mind is a real and pressing need for better access to justice in our city and community.
