Would you agree its better to get to your destination than not make it at all? There are so many distractions everywhere, found on social media and on the internet, its hard not to compare and feel like you’re enough. Looking back when I was competing for my bikini fitness competition, being the leanest and most athletic I’ve ever been in my life... You would think I was enough Truth is, I was so close to dropping out of the competition the night before because I felt like I wasn’t enough I allowed my thoughts overcome my WHY and blurred my true vision in my real reason for competing. That reason was ME! I didn’t do it for the distractions around me, I did it for myself. To see what I was capable of and to commit to something that was tough and hard. The fitness journey was far from easy. It took years to get to where I wanted to be. Yet, that time you spent working for it, makes it all worth while If you ever feel like you’re not getting to your weight loss goal fast enough, just keep going! If you don’t have time for something in your life, what you’re really saying is that’s not a priority right now Oh I’ll wait till the kids get older Oh I’ll wait till I have time Oh I’ll do it later... Oh I can’t afford it Truth is it’s not a priority right now Are you prioritizing others over yourself? Should you be? Sometimes, the answer is yes. If you have children, they will of course be very high on the list. But often times, we put our own health and happiness LOW on our priority list. Even if helping other people is important to you, you’ll be better doing that when you’re energized and rejuvenated Make yourself a priority in health! Bump everything related to your health up one or two spots. It’s worth it.
