[NORAK KIDS PROGRAM] Saturday mornings should be a morning to look forward to and it is our intent to provide kids and parents of NORAK a great start to their weekend with concurrent classes for both.... This 8 week program is specifically designed for aspiring athletes 7-11 years old. The goal is toencourage kids to work hard, get gritty, and feel accomplished through fun age appropriateexercises and games. This class is developed to introduce strength through functional movements and emphasises agility, speed and power training through fast footwork,plyometrics and body weight exercises. Although this class was primarily designed to benefit young athletes of specific sports such as hockey, skating, soccer, volleyball, cheerleading and gymnastics, it will serve as an excellent platform for cross training of any kind and evenintroduce several fundamental Crossfit movements in a safe, controlled manner. Let’s make exercise fun and help kids build habits that will serve them as adults by instilling ahealthy and happy lifestyle right from the start!
