PLEASE REPOST!!! UPDATE: Those of you asking, his family's campsite was #369. UPDATE: Nick and I traveled from Ottawa to the campgrounds over the weekend after... Balthazar was spotted Saturday morning across from the #10 campsite in the bushes. We are still hopeful we'll find him. **He is microchipped with updated information. My friend Nick Bolhuis went camping over the long weekend in Long Point Provincial Park (7 hours from Ottawa). He brought his dear cat Balthazar with him on his camping trip. During that time he escaped the trailer at night and couldn't be found. He was last seen on Sept 1st. It was raining that day, so we believe he could have been taken away in someone's trailer, as he may have hidden away from the rain. Unfortunately Nick couldn't continue his search as he had to return back to Ottawa for work. Balthazar is not just a friendly pet. A little over a year ago he saved Nick's life in a catastrophic house fire that destroyed his home. Nick wouldn't be here today if Balthazar didn't wake him from his sleep. We desperately need your help to find this little guy. He's either alone in the forest or trapped in someone's trailer/belongings that we fear will be put in storage for the winter and never to be checked until the spring. Please help!!! Thank you for your time and consideration. I have also contacted CTV news in hopes they will do a story. If anyone has any connections we would be forever greatful. Balthazar needs our help. Thank you for sharing.
