We are so humbled with the overwhelming response to our call for help! When we needed assistance our community rose to the challenge. We will be contacting all who have reached out to us within the next couple of days to make further plans. While we are so pleased to have our urgent volunteer needs met we will keep this wonderful community updated as to our future needs. Together we are making a difference and our strength lies in our community. https://www.facebook.com/CLAccess

The Ministry of Children, Community and Social Service (MCCSS) has launched an online discussion paper and survey to support its planned reform of Ontario’s developmental services sector. The Ministry is seeking ideas, comments and feedback, and it is crucial that as many stakeholders as possible to participate in the consultation. The online discussion guide provides background on the current landscape in the sector, best practices and potential opportunities for moving forward. You can find the guide here and a plain language version here. The consultation survey will close on December 4, 2020. The survey takes about 45 minutes to complete, and you can answer as many of the questions as you would like. To take the survey please follow this link: https://www.mcss.gov.on.ca//d/making-ds-better-in-ontario/
