Psalm 5:12 NLT "For you bless the godly, O Lord; you surround them with your shield of love." Happy Wednesday, NoLo Family!... How's your faith holding up? Have you been dressing for the job you want and not the one you have? I know, weird question, but seriously, have you been preparing for what you have been praying for? Well, if you haven't yet, you should because God is a God of abundance and He wants us to prepare for success in all aspects of our lives. Let's look at Elisha, God gave Elisha instructions to fill the valley with ditches even though it was scorching hot outside and to everyone, it looked like there was no chance of rain. Elisha heard God however and was obedient. He prepared for rain. As you finish this week, family, prepare for rain, whether it's a new job, financial and spiritual breakthrough, a spouse, a baby or a new car, Prepare for Rain. Prepare for abundance as you listen to Yolanda Adams "I'm Gonna be Ready" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K2_RVKrlPv0 Let it Rain and See you next week! #nolosdachurch #nolonugget

1 Peter 4:10 NLT "God has given each of you a gift from his great variety of spiritual gifts. Use them well to serve one another." Happy Sabbath, NoLo Family!... We are witnessing the beauty of another sabbath! What a joy to know no two sabbaths are ever the same and that none of us are alike. As 1 Peter 4:10 reminds us, we are unique, we are amazing, each equipped with a gift from God to spread happiness. God created us in His image, unique in every way to share our marvellous gifts to light the way for someone. How are you using your God-given gifts in service? Have you completed surrendered for God to use every aspect of your lives to serve? As you reflect on the bible verse, listen to Ron Kenoly's "Use Me" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F-2mkzSu6SU You can also join us for worship tomorrow at 11 a.m. via our zoom link. See you then! #nolosdachurch #sabbath

Psalm 40:2 NLT "He lifted me out of the pit of despair, out of the mud and the mire. He set my feet on solid ground and steadied me as I walked along." NoLo Family, we've made it to another Wednesday! ... Here we are still standing. His Grace and mercy brought us to the half-way point, the pain, the cold, the snow we endured God brought us through, and we are still standing. We can all look back at things that came to defeat us, the job, the house or even the car we didn't get but God brought us through. Psalm 40:2 reminds us that when we go through difficult times, it's a chance to see God's hand in the darkest moments of our lives. No matter how many times defeat and disappointments knock, God will always lift, restore, heal and promote us! Finish the week singing family because you are still standing and on your way to victory! Have a happy Wednesday as you listen to Marvin Sapp's "Here I Am" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9axD5kzsCTw #nolosdachurch #nolonugget

1 Samuel 2:1-10 NLT Hannah’s Prayer of Praise "Then Hannah prayed: My heart rejoices in the Lord! The Lord has made me strong. Now I have an answer for my enemies; I rejoice because you rescued me. No one is holy like the Lord! There is no one besides you; there is no Rock like our God. Stop acting so proud and haughty! Don’t speak with such arrogance! For the Lord is a God who knows what you have done; he will judge your actions. The bow of the mighty is now broken, and th...ose who stumbled are now strong. Those who were well fed are now starving, and those who were starving are now full. The childless woman now has seven children, and the woman with many children wastes away. The Lord gives both death and life; he brings some down to the grave but raises others up. The Lord makes some poor and others rich; he brings some down and lifts others up. He lifts the poor from the dust and the needy from the garbage dump. He sets them among princes, placing them in seats of honour. For all the earth is the Lord’s, and he has set the world in order. He will protect his faithful ones, but the wicked will disappear in darkness. No one will succeed by strength alone. Those who fight against the Lord will be shattered. He thunders against them from heaven; the Lord judges throughout the earth. He gives power to his king; he increases the strength of his anointed one. Happy Sabbath, NoLo Family! We continue to share prayers from the bible as we bring the curtains down on our week of prayer. At the end of the week as we usher in the sweet fragrance of Sabbath I can't think of a better way than to reflect on a prayer of praise. Hannah received a child she had asked for so many times and at that moment she remembered to send up praises. She thanked God for his greatness, his goodness and his love. This is a prayer of praise, a reminder that we should pray at all times, when we ask, when we are waiting and more importantly when we receive. What have you forgotten to praise God for today? As you think about it we encourage you to join us for another worship experience tomorrow at 11:10AM Stay tuned to our Facebook page for the live stream or visit www.nolosdachurch.org.

Psalm 42:1 NLT "As the deer longs for streams of water, so I long for you, O God." Happy Sabbath, NoLo Family!... Do you hear that? It's the sound of rest and peace that ushers in each Sabbath day. There is just something remarkable about being alone in God's presence. The songwriter sums it up so beautifully, "In His presence, there is fullness of joy, and His right hand, pleasures forevermore." There is also peace, hope and abundant blessings. The most powerful place on earth is when we kneel to pray but the most peaceful place is anywhere we enter God's presence. We encourage you to spend these quiet moments with God while you listen to William McDowell and Travis Greene with - "There Is Nothing Like His presence." https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N8zQuWTwk-Y We also invite you to spend time in His presence with us tomorrow at 11 am. Service will be streamed on our Facebook page. See you then! #nolosdachurch #sabbath

Jonah 2:2-9 NLT He said, I cried out to the LORD in my great trouble, and he answered me. I called to you from the land of the dead, and LORD, you heard me! You threw me into the ocean depths, and I sank down to the heart of the sea. The mighty waters engulfed me; I was buried beneath your wild and stormy waves. Then I said, ‘O LORD, you have driven me from your presence. Yet I will look once more toward your holy Temple.’ I sank beneath the waves, and the waters closed ...over me. Seaweed wrapped itself around my head. I sank down to the very roots of the mountains. I was imprisoned in the earth, whose gates lock shut forever. But you, O LORD my God, snatched me from the jaws of death! As my life was slipping away, I remembered the LORD. And my earnest prayer went out to you in your holy Temple. Those who worship false gods turn their backs on all God’s mercies. But I will offer sacrifices to you with songs of praise, and I will fulfill all my vows. For my salvation comes from the LORD alone. Happy Thursday, NoLo Family! We continue to share prayers from the bible with you as we continue with our week of prayer. Can you imagine being Jonah sitting in the belly of the whale after he ran from God? How many times have we made a mistake and thought we had to hide? We too experience shame and guilt but God answers our humblest and honest prayers. Jonah's prayer, a call for repentance and salvation reminds us that God loves us and welcomes us with open arms no matter what we have done. May God wrap you in his arms this evening as you listen to William McDowells' " Wrap Me in Your Arms" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h9UijG6dk4s

Psalm 27:14 NLT "Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord." Hi, NoLo Family! It's time for our Wednesday, Nugget.... We are almost through the end of the week. Many of us are just waiting to see Sabbath. Honestly, we spend our lives waiting. We wait for the perfect job, the car, the house, the spouse and much more. What are you waiting on God for today? Most importantly, what is your heart, and attitude like in this season of waiting? While you wait, be the best where you are. This is the time when God is watching to see if you are ready for what you've been praying for. You see, our waiting season is so much more, it's the moment when our character is developed and our faith strengthened. It's the moment when our situation doesn't necessarily change but it's changing something in us. It's the moment when our attitude determines everything. While you wait in this season be of good courage because all things are working for your good. Have a great evening as you reflect on this song by Donnie McClurkin - Wait on the Lord. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wrnzbGpQaLc Happy Wednesday! #nolosdachurch #nolonugget

Psalm 3 NLT 1 O Lord, I have so many enemies; so many are against me. 2 So many are saying, God will never rescue him! ... 3 But you, O Lord, are a shield around me; you are my glory, the one who holds my head high. 4 I cried out to the Lord, and he answered me from his holy mountain. 5 I lay down and slept, yet I woke up in safety, for the Lord was watching over me. 6 I am not afraid of ten thousand enemies who surround me on every side. 7 Arise, O Lord! Rescue me, my God! Slap all my enemies in the face! Shatter the teeth of the wicked! 8 Victory comes from you, O Lord. May you bless your people. Happy Tuesday, NoLo Family! We continue to share prayers from the bible to uplift your spirits. Are you at the point of crying out, I mean that soul-stirring cry of stress? David paints this one with great passion, the tears shed in distress, a cry for deliverance. A reminder that He is our shield from the battles we fight. There are times when life falls apart and even shatters, but the Lord is our shield. Today, arm yourselves and petition the throne. Deliverance is near. We encourage you to join us tonight at 8:00 p.m. The zoom link is found on www.nolosdachurch.org See you later and until then, be encouraged by Byron Cage "Thou oh Lord" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7AdW__C2DxE

1 Chronicles 4:10 NLT "He was the one who prayed to the God of Israel, Oh, that you would bless me and expand my territory! Please be with me in all that I do, and keep me from all trouble and pain! And God granted him his request." Happy Monday, NoLo Family! As its week of prayer, we are sharing a prayer from the bible each day to uplift your spirits.... Today we focus on the simple prayer of Jabez, a simple reminder to: 1. Pray by first acknowledging who God is! 2. Pray with a heart fully invested in the blessings of God. 3.Pray asking God to multiply your territory and to do more through you! What territories are you asking the Lord to enlarge in your life? We would love to hear from you, drop us a line in the comments as we stand in the gap for each other. We meet nightly at 8 p.m to worship and pray, the zoom link can be found on our website at www.nolosdachurch.org. See you there! Isaiah 26:3 NLT "You will keep in perfect peace all who trust in you, all whose thoughts are fixed on you!" Happy Sabbath NoLo Family! ... You made it! Welcome to another evening to bask in the sabbath's blessing. As we reflect on the week that was, I invite you to take a walk with me and imagine a sleeping baby in the arms of its mother or father. Perfect Peace! That's what happens when we keep our eyes on Him. To know the peace of God, to experience perfect calm amid our storms and to soar above the winds of strife. No matter what, God is our anchor, our rock and the serenity we need to face uncertainty. Rest on the promise found in Isaiah 26:3. How has God been keeping you in perfect peace lately? We want to hear from you, so drop us a comment below and join us tomorrow at 9:30 a.m via zoom for Praise and Testimony. James 1:2-3 NLT "Dear brothers and sisters, when troubles of any kind come your way, consider it an opportunity for great joy. For you know that when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow." Happy Wednesday, NoLo Family!... Have you felt the harsh sting of disappointment lately? Have you ever stopped to think that it was a blessing disguised? It's hard to understand, but the trials in our life are God protecting, guiding and redirecting us to something better. Life is an unexpected journey, and God uses the hard parts in our lives to bless us and others. Whatever pain or brokenness you may be feeling today, remember it is God's reminder that this is not our home. Dry your eyes, count it all joy because you are blessed each day with God's merciful love. Blessing by Laura Story is the perfect reminder that The rain, the storms, and the hardest nights are our mercies in disguise. Psalm 116:12 KJV "What shall I render unto the Lord for all His benefits toward me?" Happy Sabbath NoLo Family!... Fridays hit different when we think of all that God has done for us. When we think of all that he has taken us through, we can't help but enter his gates with a grateful heart. "What shall I render?'' What a powerful question, as we think about it, one thing is sure as much as God loves our praise and our gifts, He desires us more. So what shall we render this evening? Our hearts, ourselves, our total surrender. Remember to join us tomorrow for worship at 11 a.m when we render ourselves in total surrender to our creator. Isaiah 58:11 NLT "The Lord will guide you continually, giving you water when you are dry and restoring your strength. You will be like a well-watered garden, like an ever-flowing spring." Hey NoLo Family! It's Wednesday and time for your mid-week inspiration. Our NoLo Wednesday Nugget focuses on God's provision.... Are you living in constant worry? I think we all do at some point or the other. If we sit and reflect on our lives, I'm sure that we are all able to say that for every step God provided. For, every second, minute and hour of each day, God blesses us in every way possible. He has already ordained our paths and provided for us. Today, rest knowing that no matter what, where God guides, He will provide. Stop worrying and start thinking with single-minded faith that God has already guided you to this season. His provisions are already at the banquet table. Happy Wednesday! God Provides! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7ErgE2rGpyw #nolosdachurch #nolonugget

Proverbs 19:21 NLT "You can make many plans, but the Lord’s purpose will prevail." Happy Sabbath NoLo Family!... How was your week? Whatever word described your week, we can rest in Jesus as we welcome the Sabbath. As we pause to bask in His unmeasured goodness, let us reflect on Proverbs 19:21. When was the last time you stopped to ask what is your will, Lord? What of me do you require? Many times we create plans and maps for our lives and then get frustrated when it all falls apart. I encourage you to communicate with God, spend some time in his presence so that the detours and unexpected speed bumps of life do not surprise you. Live in constant communication and experience His purpose prevailing in your life. Remember to join us online for worship tomorrow at 11:00 a.m Until then, ask the Lord to keep you in His will so you won't be in His way as Jessica King reminds us. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0-osWaRYDCU #nolosdachurch #sabbath

Isaiah 40:29 NLT "He gives power to the weak and strength to the powerless." Happy Wednesday NoLo Family!... It's another week and another midway point. I can't help but wonder, how many of us feel defeated? How many of us are just going through the motions? I know I'm right there with you. We all have our giants, whether they are small or ten feet tall. They must be defeated. Today I'm reminded of David, his little stone, his sling, and Goliath. David was small but as small as he was, he did not focus on the size of the giant but on the size Of God. Our Goliath may be discouragement, panic, despair, unemployment or even finances but rest assured with God's power, we will overcome. As you finish the week, tell those Goliaths in your life just how big your God is and watch those giants fall. In these desperate times, it takes courage and faith to know that God will deliver us. Hopeless situations call for numerous prayers but rest assured all is possible with God. Prayerfully spend time in His presence this evening, and reflect on all the times prayer changed things for you. Remember to join us for a Christ-filled worship experience at 11:00 a.m. tomorrow. Until then, listen to Nicole C. Mullen with an old Classic "Call on Jesus" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m6wxwXn5gDU and comment below how prayer has helped you in times of trouble.
