Season opener will soon be upon us. Rec has some grooming to do and then we'll need another decent snow fall. Get your gear ready. Stay tuned for season pass sales, ski lessons and a social events calendar.

What a great opportunity for the adults in CF to try out skiing. Smokey is worth the trip too. They have a proper bunny hill.

To clarify, our operations cut off temperature is -35C and for lessons it is -25C, as per Environment Canada’s forecast for Churchill Falls. The call is made at 11 AM on each ski day, looking at the predicted temperature for 1 PM scheduled start time.

There are some great things on the go at the Menihek Nordic ski club. If you’re in Lab city in the coming weeks, check it out. It’s a world class facility on our doorstep. Great opportunities for kids to get introduced to the sport.
