Toddlers focused on their numbers today, particularly the Number 3! Of course, they were also very excited about the fresh snoe outside!

Of course, the highlight of Casa's day was the besutiful snow outside! In the morning, we practiced Montessori and in the afternoon, we practiced loose parts!

Toddlers started on their letter of the week, "Uu", practiced folding for their Montessori and had lots of free play fun in the snow!

Casa kicked off the morning with a creative play activity with loose parts and blocks. We later talked about our (5) senses, read a book about our senses together, and learned about our senses do! This week is sensory-theme week and we look forward to what the week will offer!

Casa is learning all about Fire Safety this week!

Toddlers expanding their language skills with flash cards, introducing the Letter T, practicing puzzles and outdoor gross motor!

Toddlers introduced shapes (starting with Triangles), explored different sensorial textures, quiet story time, their ABC's, picture colouring and fun with playdough!

Good afternoon parents! We'd like to give a quick reminder about some of our Covid Policies; At-home toys / items cannot come into our facility. We understand comfort / distraction items can make your child's morning routine and transitions easier, but at this time due to Covid these toys / items cannot come past our front gate. If they are brought to the gate, you will be asked to remove them from your child's possession prior to screening. ... Children must be dropped off before 9 am, no later. If you are running late, you're always welcome to give us as a courtesy call and we can see if we can work out something that works for both you and us. Late drop offs without a courtesy call, even if it is only 5 minutes late, will not be accepted. Please remember we only have a staff scheduled to be outside in the morning to coordinate the screenings from 7-9am, so it's very important to be on time. If you are later than 9, you're welcome to drop off between 10-11am when all our staff are outdoors and able to do the screening then. Parents are not permitted past the gate. If you are waiting for a staff to assist you, please wait patiently but please do not enter past the gate. If you are late dropping off and a staff does not come to assist you, you're welcome to try again at 10 am. We understand these may be of an inconvenience for you, but please remember that Covid is not gone. In fact, numbers are rising rapidly across Canada and across Ontario, and we need to be as cautious as possible. Whatever the Ministry of Health recommends, we implement, to help ensure the safety, well-being and health of your families and ours. Thank you and have a fantastic weekend!

Pyjama Day and a visit from our school age friends! We wrapped our Fire Safety week up, overviewed our whole week and more!

Casa learned about the parts of a fire truck, talked about them, and put the fire truck together as we went along! Then we learned about the Letter Tt for Train in a fun art activity!
