North Mountain Gun Club 13.10.2020

The North Mountain Gun Club is a community-owned NFP since 1975. Their members, together, raised $1227 and the club itself threw in another $1000 - for a total donation of $2227 to the CCFR's legal challenge battle fund. Thank you!!

Good Day Members, We are starting to get pretty busy up at the club. Firstly, this is a reminder that members who put items out on the range to shoot are to remove these items afterwards. This does include shotgun shells. Please pick up your brass, this includes .22 cases. There is no snow on the ground, so please try and pick it all up, including the stuff that ends up on the gravel in front of the firing line.... Please pack out all of your garbage. This includes coffee cups, ammunition boxes, target wrappings, and anything else you bring up. We are still limited to the number of members we can have up at the club (10 total). Members are allowed to bring one guest at a time. Guests must be signed in properly. This includes your Membership number, and their name and full address. Regular meetings and club shoots remain cancelled. We are accepting donations for the CCFR, there is a box up at the club or you can contact Matt Kozera (902) 690-7854 or [email protected]. The club is matching donations up to $1000 until 1 Aug. Last weekend we had a good RSO/enhanced safety course. We now have 39 members who have taken this training. Please, if they speak to you concerning a safety or rules based item listen to them. If you have an issue, please let me know what happened. Their names will be posted at the club. Based on the demand, there will be another RSO/Enhanced Safety Training Session up at the club on 18 July from 1030 to 1200. If you wish to attend, please email me, there are only 9 positions due to the restrictions. (Sorry this filled up in 4 hours! I will post when there's a new one.) We are taking new members at this time, but everybody is reminded that we will not be taking new members during the months of August and September. If you have friends that wish to join, they should contact me soonest. thanks for reading, Dave NMGC Membership Director
