Attention Boaters Using Chase Lobster Slipway: Emmerson kindly offered paid members of our Association to use his slipway. There has been a couple if incidents lately where members trailers were blocking or interfering with the thruway and the most recent incident ... a trailer was blocking the fish trucks at the slip way yesterday and almost got driven over by the big truck. Fellow Boaters ... lets ensure you park your trailers where there is NO obstruction. Thanks
Good afternoon Boaters; We received word last evening that several Markers has shifted in both Pugwash River and River Philip. Earl Chase, Rod Young and hopefully another volunteer will be going out on Wednesday morning to reposition buoys. Rob, thanks for the heads up.

Good evening fellow boaters; concerned citizens and businesses. RE: MORE Great News to Share. If you've been following our posts, you are well aware of our financial struggles and the possible collapse of our Association resulting in the termination of the installation of markers in Pugwash River and River Philip. The net result would be huge risks to Local and Visiting Boaters wishing to boat in River Philip and Pugwash River.... Special Recognition and Heart Filled Thanks goes out to the following Businesses for Financial Contributions towards our " Sign Sponsorship" Fundraising Initiative: 1. Cunningham Construction 2. Harrison's Home Hardware 3. Crossroads Cycle 4. Northumberland Links 5. Coastal Woodworker's Limited 6. Royal Bank 7. Canadian Tire - Amherst We are hoping another 5 Businesses will step forward allowing us to achieve our goal of 12 Sponsors. Again, many thanks to the above Businesses who recognize the value our Association provides to our local and surrounding communities. Rod Young and Wayne Reid NBA Fundraising Chairs

Community support is kicking in to help our Association achieve its budget of $9350 for 2020. While much work is still required, we wish to recognize the following: 1. 52 boaters signed on as NBA Members ... highest number ever 2. Donations of $1100 from 10 boating members and 2 non boaters. 3. Businesses: we’ve canvassed 16 businesses for Sign Sponsorship 5 have stepped up thus far. 4. Several Boaters joined together to launch buoys in both Pugwash River and River Philip. ...150+ man hours later ... they are installed and our rivers are safe for boating. 5. Other generous donations of labour and equipment by business owners and private individuals to launch the buoys deserves a High 5. We are so proud of boaters, local residents and businesses for Standing With Us to keep this much needed Service and Association going. Join me by responding and thanking these contributors with a Thumbs Up.
