Public Service: The Community Training and Development Centre is working on a research project around developing a housing model for affordable older adult housing that incorporates a sense of purpose and is appropriate for a rural geography. This project is being conducted in partnership with Together Design Lab at Ryerson University and they ask if you would be interested in participating. The project is looking for older adults (individuals aged 65 and over) who reside in... Peterborough or Northumberland County to take part in this research. Approximately 50-75 participants are being sought. If you agree to volunteer you will be asked to complete a workbook that covers four topic areas: current housing context; affordability and tenure; health, community and anticipated needs; and, home and design. The workbook will take approximately 1 hour to complete. Participation is open to anyone who fits the above criteria and who can answer questions independently or with aid from technology, a household member or caretaker (ie. help with writing/transcribing responses). Your participation is completely voluntary and if you choose not to participate it will not impact our relationship, your relationship with Ryerson University, CTDC, or your relationship with the service provider or organization who you received this email from.
