Hy-Torque provides accurate and consistent results in flange connections, ensuring that gask...ets are not over compressed or flanges are not tightened enough, greatly reducing the risk of leaks. Hy-Torque gear can also often access flanges that other tools cannot, due to clearance above the nut or other equipment interfering with pivot access for wrenches or ratchets. All of these combine for a safer and more reliable method to make flange connections. Throwback Thursday! The Grande Prairie yard, late 90's or so. Since then, Norweld Stress has grown their heat treatment services, but also added services such as Hy-torquing, cold cutting, bolt tensioning and pressure testing.

Fantastic day just south of Taylor, BC, to work with some great customers, cold cutting a section of 30" pipe for replacement.

One challenge some employers face as we continue to relax social distancing and return to work is ensuring that employees have adequate training for recognizing the hazards and controls for dealing with germs and viruses. Here's a link to a very thorough and well done online training course by ICOM Productions. It's completely free, includes knowledge check components, and provides a certificate once completed.
