Happy Friday to all! Did you know that music can lead to better learning, improve memory and help to lower anxiety? (Just to name a few of the benefits!) A local community group - The Evergreen Band Boosters, is an integral part of ensuring students in the band program have an opportunity to explore the world of music and develop their musical talents. They assist three local schools: Gimli High School, Dr. George Johnson Middle School and Winnipeg Beach School. Overtime, the... instruments used need to be replaced or new ones added and we were happy to help. You can hear the talents of these students at various public concerts through out the year. The Lundar Gymnastics Club is a new program available in the community for children ages 3-12. By having this program local, it allows more families to participate and therefore, grow and develop from the benefits of gymnastics.
