Had some time to kill before my appointment or my coffee with my Sister and her husband.

Went to Horizon Mall on Friday to get a haircut. Then went to Cross Iron Mills for my 1st or 2nd time. Couldn't have made a great impression or I would know for sure if I'd been there before. Here a just a few snaps I took.

I remember as a young boy when the family would have to drive down 11st SE we enjoyed the sites but not the smell as we pass the stock yards that once occupied ...the a large area between 26th ave and 23rd ave. Then later in life I remember rushing down to the Shamrock on St Patrick's Day to wait in line to get in the pub to have a green beer. But I never noticed the ghost signs on the C.c. Snowdon Bldg. until I started to photograph the city. Here are a few treatments of that building and some an it's neighbour.
