Nova Scotia Boomer's Legacy Bike Ride

This flag now hangs at Royal Canadian Legion branch #165 Mount Uniacke. It has the names of service members lost in the war on Afghanistan. all of these members names and their photos are carried by each rider during the annual Boomers Legacy bike ride to honor them during our two day ride of rememberance. followed by a ceremony highliting each member. if you are in the area stop in to view it and pay your respects. #novascotiaboomerslegacy #nsboomerslegacy #wewillrememberthem #boomerslegacy

on this day 19 years ago 3143 civilians, 343 fire fighters, 60 police officers and 8 Paramedics lost their lives to an act of unbelievable violence no one thought possible. please take a mon out your day to remember them, and to remember why we have a military, police, and first responders.

We at Boomers Legacy would like to send our sincerest condolences out to the family, friends and colleagues of the member that passed away in todays snowbird crash, as well we would like to wish a speedy recovery to the other member injured in that same crash.
