Please join NSCC Libraries & Learning Commons in observing the World Day for Cultural Diversity for Dialogue and Development 2021. NSCC students and staff are welcome to attend a film screening and discussion "Cultural Diversity: Food For Thought." We will be showing a short documentary "Stories Are in Our Bones", and Brady Paul, Indigenous Community and Cultural Liaison Coordinator, will lead a discussion about food and mealtime traditions in his family and in indigenous cultures, and how diet differs pre- and post-colonialism. Be sure to grab your lunch before, since all the talk about food may make you hungry. Friday, May 21, 12:15-1:00. Link: https://www.nscc.ca/food4thought
