As we are sure most of you have heard by now, the Government of Nova Scotia has made the decision to close all gyms (and other establishments) in the HRM "from Hubbards to and including, Porters Lake and the communities up to Elmsdale and Mount Uniacke in Hants County." This affects so many of us whether it is through your occupation or your own personal physical activity. Hopefully this 2 week shut down will be enough to curb the spread and we can all go back to doing what ...we love in a safe and effective manner. Here is an article outlining the shut down which is effective midnight Wednesday night. Stay safe everyone! https://globalnews.ca//nova-scotia-update-coronavirus-cov/

Following today's AGM, here is your new NSFA Board!

Nova Scotia Fitness Association 29.10.2020

We have three former board members to thank, Robinson Myers, Kaycie Lane, and Debra Tanner. Robinson was our Vice President and was instrumental in handling the relationship with the NSFA and various gym owners across Nova Scotia during the Covid re-opening process with our government. Kaycie made a great impact on the NSFA first as the PR Rep and later as the interim President. Her work has been instrumental in improving our social media & marketing presence and in moving... the NSFA’s training to online formats. Debra did 2 terms as our member at large and while she did many, many things her legacy is our annual Christmas Card campaign to political and industry leaders. She is continuing this campaign and is working on it right now! Thank you Robinson, Kaycie, & Debra!!
