Nominations are now open for the Nova Scotia Cultural Diversity & Inclusion Awards. On Feb. 4, 2016, The Multicultural Association of Nova Scotia hosts the inaugural Nova Scotia Cultural Diversity & Inclusion Awards Gala. As part of MANS celebration of 40 years in the community, the awards will acknowledge the achievements of Nova Scotians who have worked to make the province more culturally inclusive.... Nominations are open to individual residents and organizations based in or operating in Nova Scotia (including volunteer non-profit, business and government agencies) for their outstanding contributions and achievements promoting cultural diversity and inclusion in the province. There will be nine awards in the Individual and three in the Non-Profit Agency/Business categories. Nomination forms can be downloaded from our website at mans.ns.ca. The deadline for nominations is Jan. 15, 2016.

Good Afternoon Everyone, The Multicultural Association of Nova Scotia is forming 2 committees 1. a Festival organizing committee and 2. a Fundraising committee, if you would be interested in getting involved let us know. We welcome al the great ideas and help from everyone. Thank you and hope to hear from you.

It gives me great pleasure to Thank all the cultural Groups and performers that took part in the Multicultural Night at the Canadian Students Leadership Conference. The show and presentations were absolutely wonderful and the students , advisors, and guests where show enthusiastic and accepting. I don't think anyone there last night will forget the energy and pride that was present. Congratulations and thank you all.
