Happy New Year! Although 2020 has been an extremely tough year for many including myself I’m ending this year reflecting on the good that has happened. Despite my business being closed from March-June, I have seen the most growth in Nude Beauty Bar this year. The amount of new clients I have met this year, one of the hardest years for small businesses has been the boost I needed to keep going. Although I worked at multiple spas before I opened my own business I didn’t sta...rt my business with a clientele, I started completely from scratch. You really don’t realize how hard the mental aspect of owning your own business can be until you’ve done it yourself. Not everyday is going to be a happy, profitable day. I shed many tears during the first lockdown over feeling really down on myself being off work despite that being out of my control. With the support and reassurance from my parents who I could never thank enough for letting me open and run my business in their home, along with the support, reassurance and tear wiping hugs from my boyfriend were what I needed. I’m so thankful to have the love and support from these three, they’re really kept me going. Where would I be without the likes, comments, post shares and referrals from clients turned friends. The messages to check in and product/gift card sales got me through the first lockdown. Thank you. I do take note of those who always support me and I am forever grateful that. I love, love, love what I do and without you guys I wouldn’t be able to do that everyday. 2020 was my 3rd year as a business owner and 2nd year as a full time business owner. As hard as this year was, I have seen the most growth in my business and myself, and I am thankful for that. Nude Beauty Bar survived 2020 thanks to the supportive people in my life and I am so grateful all of you. Happy New Year, cheers to 2021.
