It's been a busy few weeks preparing for " the move". Having a huge garage sale on Aug 3 (8 am- 2pm). Trying to blend 2 homes into 1 has been an interesting journey. TBS, lots of stuff for sale!

Trends Don't we all want to know what's coming in and going out in the ever evolving world of design? "Trends" gives us a common language for that discussion. Anna Wintour once told a reporter at the end of New York fashion week that " Trends ( to me) is a dirty word and adding that style should reflect character, rather than chase after fads". I believe that she got this one right! The most exciting trends aren't always the ones getting the most reposts, tweets and likes. Th...ey are the images that stay with us long after we log off of social media. Things that make you think, " Wow, I'd never have put those colours together, or "such a great twist on a familiar design!" Trends are the the ideas that inspire us to try something new. Paris is currently seeing the revival of Art Deco. The glamorous designs of the 30's are a major influence showing up in unexpected places.
