May 12 marked #InternationalNursesDay. It’s no coincidence that it falls on the anniversary of Florence Nightingale’s birththe founder of modern nursing. It aims to honor and appreciate nurses for all their hard work and essential contributions to the medical field, while raising awareness about nursing as a profession. Her 8 year journey with #NurseNextDoor started in Victoria, BC as an LPN and continued in 2013 when she moved to Vancouver and was hired by the local Franchise. 2 and a half years ago her role evolved and she became a #CareAmbassador (like our friend, Pooja!) ... She's grown in her role since and is now a #CareDesigner at HeartQuarters and we're thrilled to have someone as seasoned and compassionate as her in the role.
