Even though it is very important to bring awareness to this disease it is also important to bring awareness to the fact that most and likely all people are going through some kind of struggles, health or otherwise. There are many studies suggesting that zinc helps to tighten the leaky gut and prevent relapse of Crohn’s disease. This particular study has been written in 2001 and there have been many studies after this one confirming the same thing. Has your doctor told you about them? I’m guessing not. https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/11383597/

I have not wrote any posts about nutrition and natural supplements in regards to COVID-19. I will not suggest that I have a cure. This is obviously a very complicated virus. The best thing you can do for yourself and others: stay home! get enough sleep do some exercise ... learn yoga have some fun and stay positive eat well drink lots of warm beverages such as water with lemon Make sure you have probiotics, vitamin C, vitamin D and zinc handy. These are hard to get these days. Have you been able to find them?

70% of our immune system is in our gut! Most of us associate gut with our stomach area but the digestive system starts with a mouth and ends in the anus! So the bacteria in your mouth is just as important! This specific bacteria, Streptococcus Salvarius K12 is particularly important as it may protect against strep but it also helps to protect your teeth against cavities and your mouth from bad breath! The only product I found with this bacteria is AOR brand. Please comment below if you have used this product and your feedback on it! I would love to know. Also, if you know other brands please comment as well!

When I found out how good turmeric is for us (particularly for its anti-inflammatory properties), I pretty much sprinkled it on all my food lol. But not all food taste good with turmeric . Well, here’s a recipe where it does taste good! Thanks to my mother-in-law for this super easy and tasty recipe! Pour some olive oil or avocado oil and water on a pan, add some black pepper/turmeric/paprika, warm up a bit then add diced onion and a bit of salt and sauté for a few minutes. Meanwhile boil the green beans for about 3 mins, then rinse with cold water, cut them up and throw into the onions, cook for a minute. Add diced garlic and cilantro(the more the better!) and cook for another 2 minutes. Bon Appetit!
