Kindly complete and sign Kriss' Marine Service Summarizing Questionnaire you can find on our website. ... Customers will not be permitted on the boat during launch, NWB staff will complete launch procedure. We are available via phone and email to answer all questions. Thank you all for understanding. Stay home and stay healthy!

Good things come to those that wait... in other words, if you stay home now - we can go boating later! Seems like a pretty good trade off in the name of keeping everyone safe, don’t you think? Your patience is appreciated & will be rewarded with boat time once the all-clear is given!

UPDATE. Hope you are all well & safe! Stay patient!

Northwest Basin Marina 03.03.2020

Please be advised that we are temporarily closed until further notice. The Provincial Government has mandated for us to close down during this time. On April 3rd, 2020 Ontario updated the list of essential businesses that can remain open. In Transportation Services, note 21, section c the language is quite clear stating marinas, but only to the extent that the marina is necessary to enable individuals access their primary place of residence. It is with our further understan...ding that this will remain in place until April 18th, 2020. We are doing our part in trying to stop the spread of COVID-19. We urge you to respect what is being asked by our government and we will continue to update you on any changes. Our gate is closed and we ask for nobody on the property. Launch will proceed immediately after this shutdown is over. We know you are all eager, but we are hoping this will not be long! Thank you all for your understanding. Stay home! Stay healthy! These preventative measures are in place to ensure our emergency responders are able to focus their efforts where needed the most at this time! We can’t thank them enough for their hard work.

Northwest Basin Marina 27.01.2020

We are taking responsibility and precaution to protect the safety of ourselves and our community. We hope that everyone is staying home and healthy during this time. Please note that we will still be responsive to your emails, although our office still remains closed during this time until further notice and weather permitting. Happy isolation & hand washing!! your NWB team!

FOREST FIRE UPDATE News July 31, 2018 21:30 Parry Sound 33 Fire - Parry Sound 33 Forest Fire is 10,139 hectares in size.... - Fire behaviour was less active today as high humidity levels and cloud cover aided in fire suppression. - The northeast portion of the fire closest to the Pickerel River was the most active part today. Winds from the southwest pushed some activity along the Pickerel, but it’s still holding south of the river. - The northeast corner of the fire is tucked along the west side of Little Canoe Channel. Ignition operations in that area were completed earlier this evening to tie the fire together and slow its progression down. - Structural protection continues on identified properties. Additional protection occurred along the Key and French Rivers with sprinklers set up in noted priority zones. - Crews worked the perimeter of the fire by continuing hose line north and northwest of Key Harbour. Sixty firefighters were placed along the east side, south of the Key River to continue perimeter containment. - Even though the focus is on the northeast side, we continue to supress and monitor all portions of the fire. Aerial ignition on portions of the fire near Fox Island have brought the fire to natural boundaries removing the fire hazard in this area. - Winds are forecast to be out of the north tomorrow. The fire is approximately five kilometres west of highway 69 and less than one kilometre south of Pickerel River near the CN trestle bridge on the west side of highway 69.
