Just because we can't be together in person doesn't mean we can't connect and have some fun! Join us tonight at Advancing Natural Building & Ecological Design Colloquium 2020 (Online!) @ 6PM for our virtual Campfire Social! It's an opportunity to connect with old friends and new friends, tell some stories, hear some music, and socialize outside of the more structured elements of our 3-day program. How will this work, you ask? We’re utilizing a new online tool called Gather ...to create an interactive, one-of-a-kind Campfire environment to interact with fellow attendees at the Colloquium! Gather is a video chat platform that allows users to move avatars around a map. As you get close to other avatars, your videos will pop up and you will be able to chat. We’ve created a totally unique Natural Building themed campfire environment to explore, and it’s guaranteed to leave you with the feeling of a full heart. What you need: -Desktop/laptop with a mic and camera. -Web browser (Chrome or Firefox recommended). That’s it! There’s no software to download/install. Though we do recommend preparing by bringing one or more the following things: hot cocoa, warm blankets, fuzzy socks, instruments, marshmallows Whatever your favorite things to enjoy during a late night beside the fire might be!
